Description:
This rifle is in fair to good condition given its age. The serial number dates to 1897 production. There are some dings, gouges and scratches in the wood. There is a small crack on the left side between the rear screw and the receiver. The rear sight has a large amount of pitting and the barrel badn appears to have been refinished or replaced. The metal finish has age to a good patina with freckling. The hammer spring is strong, the trigger breaks cleanly and the trapdoor latch is good.
