Description:
Westley Richards 12 Gauge Herenshaw Pair. Both guns match so I will describe as one. The actions are tight on the face with double triggers, Celtic engraving pattern is crisp and sharp, screws are good and in time. This is one of the most attractive engraving patterns Westley ever did in my opinion and was the basis for my own custom Westley shotgun. The barrels are 28" with good blue and clean bores that measure .742 Diameter all four to London proof with 2 3/4" chambers to proof. the chokes on both are Skeet/ Mod and barrels are marked 1 and 2. The stocks are both straight hand/ splinter with 14 1/8" lengths of pull to chequered plates, the stocks are matched from the same portion of the blank, chequering and finish are original and in great shape, 1 3/4" Drop at heel, 1 1/2" drop at comb, cast is neutral, both guns are well balanced and a full strip and clean with pictures provided is included in the purchaes, Westley 3 label case is in fair condition, both guns 6lbs 3oz 0017091 $12500.00
