This gun retains 99% of its original blue finish, with just a couple of miniscule rubmarks under the barrel and on the rear of the handle, from going in and out of the stock, and just a hint of high edge wear/minimal spotting, as per pictures. There is no pitting. It is all matching, icluding the small parts and grips, and has a desirable "Von Lengerke and Detmold" marking on the left side of the frame. The fireblue on the small parts is incredible. Grips are excellent and numbered to the gun. Bore has pronounced rifling, but also has a few spots of light pitting in the grooves, closer to the muzzle, most likely from use of corrosive ammo of the era. The stock shows beautiful tiger stripe figure and has no cracks or other defects. It is numbered to the gun.
