Description:
This British Pattern Large Bore Flintock Pistol is about .75 Caliber with a lock marked with an Engraved GR and 1790 date. Brass trigger Guard is stamped 3DG/C/2 which I believe is for the 3rd Dragoon Guards, C Company. Lots of proofs on barrel and wood (see photos). I believe the 3rd Dragoon Guards are related to the Prince of Wales. Pistol has a nice patina, with solid walnut and what appears to be an original ramrod, etc. Pistol is in very good condition overall and perfect working order. A wonderful British Flint Pistol. Serious offers shall be considered.
