Description:
Smith and Wesson First year production of the pre-model 17 k-22 series. This early post war was made in 1946. Only about 513 were made this first year. 6" barrel and about 80% plus original finish. Attesting to the fact that it must be a great shooter is a green fiber optic front sight that just replaced the original blade - mechanically perfect.
