Great Patina Original Antique shotgun Chaps These nice chaps are from an estate sale. They have beautiful aged patina, smooth leather. They have a great looking basket weave stamped belt, classic patch pockets, thick heavy leather, very flexible and would be wearable for pictures. The leg have the thin cut fringe a you often see in old photos. Most of the original lacing is intact . Absolutely great original use patina. These chaps are an 1870s style pair from the River Junction private collection. Made of chaparejos leather. Upper sides and fly area re-enforced with a double layer of leather. Has two pockets. Tooled waistband. All stress points are intact.
The outseam is 38 inches, the inseam 28 inches, the waist belt overall length is 42 inches, and measures 38 inches to the center hole.
Because these would be worn low on the hip I would say it would fit a 32 to 34 inch waist or smaller.
