Description:
The Colt Police Positive (First Issue) was made from 1907 to 1927. The 6-shot revolvers came with either a 2 1/2, 4, 5, or 6 inch barrel, checkered hard rubber grips with checkered walnut after 1924, square butt frame, and were chambered in .32 Colt, .32 New Police, .38 New Police, or .38 S&W. This 1923 vintage Police Positive is as described and is fitted with a 2 1/2 inch barrel. It retains about 95% of its original blue finish with some thinning of its shrp edges due to holster wear. The grips are in excellent condition, they fit well, and do not have any chips or cracks. The bore is bright, but its does have some spots of corrosion.
