Description:
Please note this is a Standard Grade Pre 64 Win 70 300 HH rifle that has been restocked and appointed with component features to closely resemble a genuine factory Super Grade. It is NOT, and is being clearly represented here as a semi-custom rifle. With that said, here are the specs:
S/N 369xxx, Mfg. 1956, matching bolt, 26" Barrel, 300 HH caliber, genuine Super Grade floor plate. Filler plug in place of rear sight. Replacement front sight hood. Beautiful, moderately figured, raised comb stock with sculpted cheek rest and Super Grade style checkering, contrasting fore end tip, grip cap, inletted swivel bases (swivels are Jaeger custom)
Overall condition is excellent. The exterior wood work in terms of shaping, and especially checkering and finish is outstanding. However, the final inletting of the barrel channel and the cupped swivel clearance areas on either side of the swivel bases seems to be of somewhat lesser quality workmanship, although adequately serving the purpose. The bottom metal and butt plate have been nicely re blued in a carbonum type finish.
