#460010, Ithaca Gun Co. Ithaca N. Y. - New Ithaca Field Grade: A 12 Bore Model New Ithaca Double (NID) Field Grade that was completed in 1935, It is with 28" Extractor steel barrels with their rotary bolt rib extension crossbolt and third bite, .729 .017 & .035 (Mod. & Full), 2 3/4" chambers, The barrel flats stamped 2 & 4 for Mod. & Full chokes, Double triggers, Splinter forend, Pistol grip stock at 14 3/16 x 1 9/16 x 2 7/8" over the original buttplate, 7 lbs. 1 oz., This is a total original gun with 95% bluing remaining on the barrels, 98% original case colors remain, The breech face retains 100% of its case colors, The wood both fore and aft is as solid as it was 81 years ago and overall is still at 95% finish, The checkering remains at 100%, The bores are excellent plus and the barrels are in superb shape inside and out, The bores and chambers look like they did 81 years ago. All serial numbers match including the forend wood, it is smack on the face and remains tight. Here is a very nice and honest Ithaca made 81 years ago with a doggone nice piece of wood.
