Just about flawless Colt 2nd generation 1851 Navy. This revolver is unfired but has been turned.There is no visible line around cylinder. Strong case colors. Perfect bluing. The silver plate is likewise about perfect but exhibiting fine polish marks as visible in photo. This is a first year, maybe first day production of 1971. Serial number 4214 makes it the 13 th revolver produced. See photo of 4201, the first produced, on page 37 of R. L. Wilsons book, Colt an American Legend. These early revolvers were done up at the Colt factory with the fantastic royal blue and Colts own case coloring. Includes box in poor condition with one end flap missing, that I do not think is the correct one. price includes shipping Priority Mail, no FFL required.
