Description:
This is one of the Armalite AR-10T (Target) rifles in the SASS (Semi-Automatic Sniper System) format. It is chambered in the 308 NATO round. Armalite starts with the AR-10 platform, and adds accuracy enhancing components, such as a hand-lapped Lothar Walther barrel, match trigger group, and a PRS adjustable buttstock. Additions to this particular rifle include a Harris Bi-pod, snap-on hand protectors for the forend, Magpul grip with trap door storage, and a Picatinny riser with 30mm rings. The muzzle wears an Armalite brake, which has been pinned to comply with states requiring muzzle-mounted attachments to be permanently affixed.
There rifles sell for $2,759, and near $3,000 as set up. I've never really found much need for it, so it's time to pass it on.
