Description:
A nice factory wood cased pair of factory gold plated derringers in .22 caliber short. with simulated Mother of Pearl grips. Except for a few marks in the top of the case, these are " as new in the box." They don't come any nicer. They are unfired The pistols show no handling marks, scratches or discolorization. The spur triggers, hammers and screws are all blued. The rest of the metal including the barrels, actions and grip straps are all gold plated. They are consecutively numbered. The Butler name is prominitely shown on the barrel tops. They are single shot and the barrels are round and 2 & 1/2" long. They were made around 1963 when Butler stopped making the same basic pistols for Colt. These are replicas of the Colt Derringer #4. The red lining in the case is also in as new condition and contains the banner name" House of Butler". There is a blade type front sight. The barrel is a side pivoting Thuer action.
