- Note: This is one of those rare occasions where a nice gun has had rough handling but very little use. We can only imagine this ended up in a tool box or fishing kit somewhere during its early life. This is truly one of Colt's sweet little revolvers. However, it has been roughly treated. The gun retains a high percentage of blue on the action and cylinder, with a little more wear on the barrel. There are nicks and light scratches and abrasions to barrel and frame. The bore is a shooting bore, however lightly frosted. Screw heads show removal with little concern to choice of screw driver. At some point the grips have been replaced. The single action timing on the cylinder is slightly off. But even with all of that said, you'd be hard pressed to find a little gun like this to carry around in the field for stump shooting and bouncing tin cans.
