- Condition: What you're looking at here is one of those rare, high condition, Winchester lever action rifles. A very conservative overall estimate would describe this gun as a strong 85% +. The fire blue on the side loading gate is still strong with some thinning at the front edge. Case colors on the lever are still strong but faded at handling points. The frame shows light freckling from handling. The octagonal barrel and magazine tube still carry 90%+ original finish. Given the rifle's 108 years of life, the original stock and wood finish show light scuffs, scratches, and bumps. The bore is bright with strong lands and grooves. This is one of the nicest Winchester's we've had the pleasure of having in our inventory in several years!
