SOLD..Smith & Wesson 2nd model in excellent condition. Here is a real nice 2nd model SA Smith & Wesson. S/N 20293 and all matching throughout of course. The original nickel finish is very nice with the barrel having about 80%. The frame has about 97% and the cylinder at about 85% including the front and rear grip straps. The balance of the metal where the nickel has flaked off is a smooth medium brown patina that has never been cleaned on with NO pitting. Very nice finish on this one. All the markings are excellent. The mechanics are like new. Crisp and tight as a new gun. Rock solid barrel to frame fit at the latch and the hinge. The hammer has good traces of case colors. The screw heads are sharp and show no burring from tinkering. Still shows some blue on the barrel latch. Untouched front sight. The grips are excellent but do show a little wear to the checkering but NO cracks or chips and a perfect factory fit with NO issues. Very good bore with minor black powder roughness but is not piited bad at all. The chambers are good with some surface crud that will clean out nicely. Would be a great shooter with proper black powder loads of course. Nothing special here a a very fine little Smith pocket revolver that has never been cleaned on of messed with. These were very popular revolvers in the day as they are very reliable and very solid built little guns. $20 insured shipping and call 765-728-8049 with any questions or more photos.
