Description:
Browning Superposed 20 gauge O/U shotgun factory 2-barrel set. Both vent rib barrels are fitted with individual field style forearms and front silver colored metal bead and no mid bead. The first set (#1) is 26 ½” Skeet/Skeet and the second set (#2) is 26 ½” Mod/Full; bot sets chambered for 2 ¾” & 3” shells. The stock has the customary short tang/round knob configuration that was introduced the year before in 1966 with a 14 1/8” LOP to the butt plate, 1 1/2” DAC, 2 ¼” DAH with neutral cast. The stock and forearms are finished in the standard lacquer of the era and retain 98% finishes. There is an oval engraving plate inset in the bottom of the stock with the initials “JRT”. The metal is finished in Browning blue on the frame pieces and Browning rust blue on the barrels with all metal areas retaining 98% finishes. Made in 1967 the gun is completely “salt” free.
