Description:
A very fine Colt 1860 Army, SN 66XXX all match including arbor pin and wedge. The cylinder scene is quite extraordinary and is retained about 96%. There is a good 75% blue on the barrel and traces of case colors on the loading lever and the hammer and frame. The wooden walnut gripps are fine and avery strong cartouche on the left side, believed to be Ainsworth who customarily only stamped one grip. All subinspectors initials are present. The bore is excellent with strong rifling. Mechanically tight and indexes well.REDUCED!!
