PARKER BROS. GH GRADE 12 GA. DAMASCUS STEEL SHOTGUN CIRCA 1889 W/ ORIGINAL LEG-0-MUTTON CASE. 28 1/8th ” barrels with 2 ½” chambers. Signed on rib “PARKER BROS. MAKERS, MERIDEN, CONN. DAMASCUS STEEL”. Factory “G” grade engraving. Finely figured walnut stock and forend . 14 3/8th” pull. 1 ¾”, 3” drop. Light wear overall with original metal patina mixed with blue in the recesses. Frame silvery grey with very crisp engraving. Very tight action and triggers and safety in working order. Cylinder bored barrels shortened to 28”. Has excellent, bright bores. Stock and forend with the patinated original finish and lightly worn checkering. Original early plain hard rubber butt plate and pistol grip cap. Old and certainly period Royal case dried and needs stitching. Has old worn shipping labels with Washington, D.C. and Wilkes-Barre, Pa. destinations.
