FRENCH ST. ETIENNE WWI AND WWII BERTHIER MODEL 1907 /15-M16 MODIFIED 8MM LEBEL RIFLE WITH BAYONET. Serial number "919XX". Mismatched serial numbers on bolt and triggerguard and stock typical. Original stock with few small splices on forend addressing knots typical of arsenals at the time. 100% of it's arsenal reblue save bolt which is correctly in the white. NO pitting or salt and pepper anywhere. Factory sights correct. Excellent screws and rivets. Correct sling swivels. Good bore and rifling. Bolt locks up tight. Perfect working order. Period spike bayonet, scabbard and frog in prime condition.
