JAPANESE ITALIAN MADE NAVY WW2 TYPE I SIMILAR TO TYPE 38 6.5mm JAP NAVAL LANDING FORCE RIFLE. Serial number "H7XX". No "mon" as made in Italy prior to 1941 and never marked(shipped via submarines). Made on Carcano actions but based on the Jap Type 38 rifle. No markings ever except serial number on left side of receiver. Prime example with no loss of original color(blue) on metal or wood which has coat of lacquer on it but never been sanded. Cannot tell you exactly which Italian armory but bulk manufactured by Beretta beginning in 1937 and ending in 1941. Perfect working order and mint bore. Original rear sight and front blade. Ramrod. No import marks. Wonderfully made and not crude in appearance as most Jap rifles can be.
