#3824 S&W Model No. 3 Second Model American
This is an S&W Second Model American in 44 S&W American caliber. It retains 85% original nickel finish. The mechanical function is very good, crisp and tight. The bore is very good, bright and shinny with only a very slight amount of fine frosting. This is an 8” barrel with all matching assembly numbers. The serial number is 21939 and the grips are matching. This was most likely made in 1873 and is a really nice Indian Wars period single action S&W.
