SPANISH PINFIRE DOUBLE BARREL FOLDING TRIGGERS PINFIRE BOOT PISTOL CIRCA 1860’S. .45 caliber rifled 4 ¾” octagon barrels. Serial number “87” on all major parts. Walnut stock with fluted grip and steel grip cap with lanyard ring. Typical of pistols exported from Spain in the 1860’s and 70’s to Mexico and North and South America as well as many other countries. Very good overall with nice metal patina and the original wood finish. Both hammers in good order and folding triggers work perfectly. Good bores that will clean even better. Good example of one of the first successful breech loading cartridge pistols.
