Description:
This is the standard 1 3/4” wide dark brown leather waist belt with aluminum Luftwaffe belt buckle (maker stamped “R. S. & S.” on the reverse). The tab on the buckle is maker and date stamped 1938, with an additional “L.B.A.” stamping on the inner portion of the tab. The outer surface of the tab has a deeply struck unit stamp: “I/Flak. Regt. 3”, with some further unit stampings along the interior surface of the belt towards the tag end: “Techn. Komp.”, and “Fl. H. Kdtur. Parow”. The leather is in good-very good condition with some crazing and mild flaking on the flex points, most noticeably on the tabs. Additionally, there is a hole through the leather about midway down its length. This is a neat piece of World War II militaria and would make a nice addition to a collection.
