Description:
This bayonet was manufactured at either Toyko or the Kokura Arsenal. Overall length is 20 1/8” with a 15 5/8” blade. The very tip of the blade has a sharpened edge; the balance feels unsharpened. Metal surfaces have been cleaned to bare metal with scattered pinprick pitting. Grips are wooden and have some dings and dents along with some chipping around the screws. Pommel is serial numbered “52479” Scabbard has also been cleaned to bare metal with some fine pitting and two shallow dents
