Description:
A fairly scarce Last Ditch Japanese Arisaka manufactured by Izawa Jyuko; this 9th Series rifle has a partially ground mum and serial numbers are matching on the receiver, upper band and complete bolt assembly. Barrel is 26” with a good bright bore with light frosting to perhaps some light pitting in the grooves. Metal surfaces are blued and retain about 90% coverage on the rough machined metal. The buttplate is mostly a gray patina. Stock has a scattered mix of dings, dents, bruises and some gouges. The upper band is missing the face plate. Only about 32,000 of these rifles were manufactured by Izawa Jyuko. FFL or C&R
