Description:
This is a Krieghoff 98 Mauser Sporter rifle in 7X57 with an 18 inch ribbed barrel and a dual set trigger. This rifle has an engraved action and engraved bottom metal. All metal is in Excellent condition, and the bore is bright and shiny. There is a wide dovetail in the barrel rib that has been plugged and behind that a folding leaf sight has been installed. The front sight is a brass bead with a flip up white bead. The Monte Carlo style stock is high grade checkered walnut with ebony pistol grip and fore end caps. A Pachmayr Decelerator butt pad has been installed. Wood condition is Excellent
