Walther P-38 (ac/43 "stacked". Ser 20XX k.
It must have sat out the war in some officer's barracks.
This P-38 has 99.5+% of the original factory blue over a late war time finish. The muzzle tips and some sharp edges do show traces of silvering and nothing more. No pits, scratches or rub marks from the holster. The front grip has not started to tone gray.
All numbers match. The right side of the slide is stamped Eagle/359, Eagle /Swastika, Eagle /359. The right side of the frame has an Eagle/359. The barrel block, Eagle/ 359. The left bottom front corner of the slide appears to have a very tiny stick Eagle. This writer has never seen that before.
The grips are correct for the gun and are in flawless condition. No rub marks, chips or splits. The slide rail, bolt face and feed ramp are almost devoid of any use. The barrel is sunshine bright with razor sharp rifling. As you would expect from a gun that has had little if any use.
It comes with one lovely magazine stamped Eagle/359 on the spine, on the side P38.
