#222000, Parker Bros. Makers, Meriden, CT. U.S.A. Vulcan Steel: Parker Bros. 20 Bore VH with 26" Extractor Vulcan Steel Barrels on a "0" Frame Made in 1927. The barrels at .617 .012 & .024 (Mod. & Full), 2 3/4" chambers, Wall thickness on the right & left barrel at .032" "0" Frame size, Double Triggers, Splinter forend, Pistol grip stock with the Parker grip cap at 14 3/8 x 1 11/16 x 1 5/8" over a 11/16" DuPont Neoprene pad, It will go 14 3/4" with a 1" pad, 6 lbs. 9 oz., This piece retains 55% original barrel blue, It has traces of case colors but a nice patina, The butt & forend completely refinished and the checkering re-cut, The wood remains very solid both fore & aft, The bores are excellent with light dings 4" back of the muzzle on the left barrel, These are really nice barrels inside and out. Overall the piece remains an honest 1927 20 bore game gun with the weight at 6 lbs. 9 oz., 26" barrels and a neat serial number.
