Description:
This is a Mauser 1871 single shot rifle converted to 6.5x53.5. This rifle is in excellent condition with a bore so clean you wouldn't believe. The metal is in great shape with no rust or pitting and very little bluing wear. The wood is also in great shape with some bumps and dings that come with a rifle this age. The gun is all numbers matching. It has many nice bold cartouches. This rifle started life as a 11mm black powder cartridge. in approx. 1894 it was converted to 6.5x53.5mm SR by Société Française d'Armes Portatives Saint Denis in France for Uraguay. This rifle features a 33" barrel. This rifle is an antique doesn't require an FFL to ship. Inventory # 35627-1
