Description:
Echoing the fine rifles of days past, the Kimber SuperAmerica is a well balanced and attractive long gun for the discerning sportsman. Sitting in a glass and pillar bedded stock, the high polish blued steel action is scaled to the .300 WSM caliber. Hand cut 24 LPI checkering and an ebony forend tip accentuate the AAA-grade Claro walnut and its hand rubbed oil finish. A steel capped pistol grip, raised cheekpiece , and a 1” Pachmayr Decelerator aid shooter comfort.
Styled after the Mauser 98 and Winchester Model 70, the 8400 is a controlled round feed action with a three position safety, claw extractor, and fixed ejector. Accuracy is aided by a target crowned match grade barrel and chamber as well as an adjustable trigger.
This rifle has been fired but shows only the mildest of handling marks on the stock. There are some small marks on top the receiver from previous optic use.
