Description:
Known for being among the finest pistols ever built, this Wilson Combat is no exception. Featuring a high polish blued finish, this precision made 1911 is chambered in the classic .45 Auto. The CQB Elite is built with all Wilson Combat Bulletproof parts. The flat top slide is serrated 30 LPI on top and 40 LPI on the rear (including rear of extractor). The Wilson Tritium night sights include a Battlesight rear with cocking shelf. The match grade, bushing-less barrel sits above a full length recoil system. This example has a fluted chamber and an attractive flush cut, reverse crown.
This pistol omits the forward serrations and markings on the slide. Instead, reserved aftermarket engraving gives a touch extra bringing form together with function.
Moving on to the frame we have a high cut 30 LPI checkering on the front strap for positive grip in less than ideal conditions. The G10 grips are relief cut for easy access to the magazine release. An extended thumb safety and beavertail grip safety help with the high thumb over grip preferred by many shooters. The magazine well is extended to help speed up reloads.
