Description:
22" round bbl and button mag. Orig Winchester sights include a platinum lined express rear sight. Fine bore. Bright and shiny with sharp rifling and no pits. Wood has been lightly cleaned but not sanded or undersized and in VG condition. Steel shotgun style buttplate. This is one of the 22" short rifles that were generally sent to India. It has the British proof marks and all the other features the English guns had. Marked 50 Express on the dust cover, bbl and elevator. Metal is in VG condition with traces of blue in protected areas. Mostly a plum/brown patina with no pits or gouges. Crisp tight action. A good looking orig gun.
