The action on this antique winchester is crisp and snappy loads and ejects smartly . the metafinish is grey . The finish ?showing evidence of removal of old oxidation . The barrel is octogon shows crisp sharp edges .upon looking at barrel it appears original . The bore is dark with enough rifeling to spin a bullet remember this old rifle is 124 years can you just imagine you can still go out and fire this .
