Up for sale is a beautiful sidelock ejector crafted in Eibar, Spain by the artisan gunmakers at Armas Garbi. This lovely game gun is built on a traditional H&H style-sidelock with hand-detachable locks. The action has been coin finished and is engraved with Purdey-style rose and scroll. The chopper lump barrels measure 27" and are choked IC/MOD. They are joined by a swamped game rib with a single bead. The nicely figured walnut stock has a straight grip paired with a slim, splinter forend. The butt and forend are further enhanced with hand-cut checkering, tear drops, and a checkered butt. There are also double triggers w/ an articulated front blade. The gun is in very nice condition, overall. There are handling marks in the stock but no cracks or major damage. There are nicks and scratches in the bluing but no major wear. The bores are clean and the barrels are free from dents and dings. At 6lbs 4 oz, this 12-bore double carries and handles wonderfully and would be right at home in the bird woods and fields. Plus, it's a great value! Please let me know if you have any questions.
