Colt saa 44-40 4-3/4" fine conditon, with good blue in flutes and butt and barrel.trigger guard and straps. ejector housing etc. Traces of faded case harding.
hard rubber original grips witth wear.. Nice gun with tight action like new!
Colt factory letter: shipped to Simons hardware.
Very sought after configuration of caliber and bbl. .length! and still what we call "antique smokeless" frame. Mfg'd late 1898
