Description:
Rare and unique high condition percussion Barnett Swivel deck gun. Weighting in at a stout 22 lbs. with a 24” barrel and a bore diameter of 1.125 inches. This deck gun remain unaltered and original including the yoke and pivot assembly, original brass furniture and steel ram rod. London proofed, The gun date from the 1850’s to the 1860’s and is believed to be of U.S. or C.S.A service due to lack of British military markings and Barnett’s export history to the United States. The original brass but plate has a two letter mark of E-O (pics). The wood stock had 70 -80 percent original finish with normal wear and tear showing, the barrel, hammer, and lock plate all have and even patina. The brass appears uncleaned and unpolished. If you intend to fire it, it will require a replacement nipple. Shipping TBD and delivery is available
