Browning Custom Shop Auto-5 Light Twenty Upland s/n: 231CS01510 (ca. 2007).
Exhibition quality walnut w/ oil finish, flat top checkering w/ Mullered borders, round knob pistol grip and long tang, silver receiver w/ bulino style game scenes depicting flushing quail in a pine flat and barn house on ejector side, left side depicts flushing woodcock in birch forest, with both sides framed by gold wire borders, trigger guard is marked "CS" and stamped w/ the Custom Shop "Buckmark" and receiver is signed: "C. Baerten" (Claude Baerten).
26" VR w/ single brass bead, choked Imp. Cyl. (**-) w/ a 2 3/4" chamber and marked: "Made in Belgium by Browning S.A." .
The gun is brand new in its original box labeled: "A5 20 LGT 65 IC UPLAND" and "WOODSWATER (Browning Custom Shop dealer in Tuscaloosa, AL) and a "Made in Belgium" sticker. Includes original paper with factory Certificate of Identification w/ matching serial number and signed by engraver and final assembly gun smith.
Brand new in the box, extremely well executed and extremely rare; one of the finest Auto-5 shotguns for sale on the market today.
