Dakota Arms Model 76 Safari Takedown Traveler .404 Dakota, 21" special contour barrel w/ .850" muzzle diameter, stocked in a killer piece of English walnut w/ perfect structure for a big bore and great color, very symetrical figure, right hand shadowline cheekpiece, custom trigger guard w/ inside the bow release and straddle floor plate, drop belly magazine (4+1 capacity), Traveler checkering pattern, steel grip cap and ebony forend tip, island rear sight and ramp front sight w/ flip up night sight, inletted rear swivel and barrel band front swivel, Dakota dovetail bases. Gun was built in 2005 and shows no signs of being shot but has a few handling marks here or there. Overall a very nice gun and handles well w/ the weight a bit forward in the barrel to manage muzzle flip; weighs 10 lbs. 5 oz. Ammo and dies available. This gun is priced well below 2015 replacement cost of well over $10,000.
