1893 .32-40, 26" OCTAGON RIFLE, MADE 1902, barrel marked "Special Smokeless Steel" mostly gray receiver with good blue on the loading gate, fine aged barrel blue with high edge wear, mag tube turning gray-brown with good blue on upper section below barrel, has Lyman tang sight with blade/bead front sight and unusual replacement folding adjustable rear barrel sight, fine wood, tight action, bore is a little dark with strong rifling and no pitting, hard to find caliber especially with "Smokeless Steel" octagon barrel
