Springfield Armory M1903, manufactured 1921, serial number 12342xx. 4-groove SA 4-21 barrel with a bright bore. No import marks. This rifle is in excellent used condition. A few small parts are Remington, all are described below and shown in photos.

Part Details:
- Receiver: manufactured 1921, labeled “U.S. SPRINGFIELD ARMORY MODEL 1903. 1234225”. Gas port hole on right side. Has dark parkerized finish, excellent condition with no pitting, milling marks and lettering very sharp.
- Barrel: marked “SA 4-21” with flaming bomb. 4-groove rifling. Bore is bright, crown and rifling excellent. Exterior finish excellent, no pitting.
- Barrel Gauge Measurements: MW(muzzle wear) = 1 ½, TE(throat erosion) = 2 1/2
- Front sight: 3-piece 1903 type, unmarked
- Rear sight: elevator, 2700 yard scale, elevation and windage knobs dished and checkered. All parts including slide and aperture are in excellent condition
- Trigger: unserrated type, unmarked
- Sear: round front, marked “S”
- Bolt: swept handle type, punch mark under handle, “J 5” on safety lug, small gas port.
- Extractor: unmarked with gas port
- Extractor collar: milled type, unmarked
- Bolt sleeve: unmarked
- Safety: READY/SAFE in serif lettering, unmarked on edge
- Trigger guard: milled 1903 type, no extra trigger pin, marked “6” and “8” near trigger slot, unmarked, excellent condition
- Floorplate: milled 1903 type, marked “R”
- Band spring: milled, unmarked
- Bayonet lug: milled, marked “H”
- Barrel band: milled 1903 type, marked “U”
- Firing pin/cocking piece: unmarked early SA type
- Striker: marked “R”
- Magazine cutoff: unmarked on edge, ON/OFF in block lettering
- Follower: milled, unmarked
- Follower spring: marked “R”
- Stock: straight, walnut, finger grooves, two recoil bolts. Has two 7/16” circled “P”’s on pistol grip, also small “A” just behind trigger guard. Almost no dings/scratches, no cracks, finish and appearance much finer than usual.
- Handguard: walnut, no cracks, same condition and appearance as stock
- Rear swivel: milled 1903 type, unmarked
- Buttplate: uncheckered SA type with trap
