Rare!!! Collectors Welcome!!! Antique Prior WWI Period 1910 -1920th GERMAN rifle scope Dr.Walter Gerard/Charlottenburg DRGM Model K 5.75X Elevation adjustment and focusing work good. Lenses in good condition without damages or cracks. Sharp View.Very rare scope! Not typical for 100 or more years scope.(I think was made between 1910-1925) Company Dr.Walter Gerard/Charlottenburg produced rifle scopes in Germany prior to World War I for use on sporting,huntig rifles.With the onset of the war, Dr.Walter Gerard/Charlottenburg scopes, along with many other previously manufactured sporting rifle scopes, were adapted by the German Army for use on their Scharfschutzen-Gewehr 98 and K98 Sniping Rifles. All Dr.Walter Gerard/Charlottenburg scopes are scarce in the USA. Rifle scope lenses was cleaned inside and outside,maintained elevation and focusing adjustment. Original factory bluing. Reticle German # A8 Duplex(but without crosshair between 4 bars) Magnification 5.75 X Length 305 mm or 12 inches Main tube diameter 26.8 mm Eye tube diameter 37.5 mm Objective tube diameter 37.00 mm Weight 14.2 oz or 402 gram Excellent scope for drilling, sporting and side by side collectible rifles.
