Original Red Army (Soviet Union) sniper rifle scope made in 1937 number #A 23660.This scope was captured in WWII by German Army and used on K 98 Mauser German rifle. German famous optic company C.Zeiss sold rifle scope technology PE and PEM scopes to Soviet Union in 1932. Rifle scopes PE and PEM was used on Famous Mosin Nagant sniper rifles with 7.62x54 caliber. I bought this scope on action in Germany. It`s steel body was rust condition, so my son clean all body, polished,than rebluing(cold)it. Lenses was cleaned inside and outside,but has small signs of use,that you can see on photos(to take signs need send scope to optic service and polishing them).Now scope lenses clear with sharp view. Elevation and Windage adjustment(after cleaning) works flawlessly. On eye piece tube have Russian sign with Star, lens, hammer and etc. Now scope in fine condition and can be use on any rifle or be in Rare scopes collection.
