General Specs: AyA, Year 1957, .410 Gauge, 6lbs 4oz, SxS

AyA is a well known maker of Spanish guns that start with the Matador boxlock as their most affordable double shotgun, and go up to their best sidelock that will run over $50,000.  Needless to say they make nice guns and the Matador is an incredible value for a quality made gun.  This little .410 Matador was made in 1957 and remains in excellent condition.  Features include European walnut stock nicely shaped, fitted, and hand checkered; beavertail forend; robust and fully functional single selective trigger, ejectors, action is hand engraved, with solid gold AyA logo inlaid in the top lever. The receiver, barrels, and trigger guard have been reblued and remain in 99.5% condition. Wood is in 98% condition with no cracks. To find a well made gun with all of the features mentioned above is amazing in today's world. What a great woodcock, dove, or clays gun. Thanks for looking.
