Quite possibly the rarest variation of the iconic Winchester model 12 ever produced, This is a Stainless steel barreled milled rib pigeon grade model 12 trap with the very early 12-5 engraving ( the later 12-5 pattern is flipped). Produced in approximately 1928 this gun has the highest reported stainless steel vent rib serial number at ST56. At one time i personally owned this gun and will vouch for how well it performed on the trap field. 30" full vent rib, the engraving is well above average in the capped B carved pistol grip stock has a LOP of 14 1/4" over a Winchester recoil pad the DAC is 1 1/2" and the DAH is 1 1/2". The gun is beautiful and exceedingly rare Includes Winchester repair center correspondence identifying the gun and outlining work requested by a former owner.
