CIVIL WAR U.S. MODEL 1860 CAVALRY SABER & SCABBARD BY BOKER. Stamped "Henry Boker, Solingen" on one ricasso with nothing on opposite. 34 1/2" blade with two fullers. Original false edge with no additional sharpening and original polish marks at hilt. No dings or chinks in blade. Original leather washer. Brass basket in pristine condition with lacquer to preserve it. Original leather wrap and two strand braid wire wrap excellent with no loose ends. Steel scabbard excellent with only sings of pitting at drag. Original rings. Perfectly straight blade and scabbard with no dings or kinks.
