EXCELLENT SWISS SCHMIDT RUBIN MODEL 1911 7.5 SWISS INFANTRY RIFLE WITH SLING AND SCOPE MOUNT, CIRCA 1913. Serial number "367XXX". Prime example no import marks. Excellent stock with original one piece pistol grip and very little carry wear. Stock stamped "Zurich" just ahead of original buttplate and Swiss shield stamp on right side of buttstock and top of forend. All matching including magazine as well as typical piece of paper naming the soldier it was issued to with his Canton(Zurich), address and matching serial number written in pencil. Original blue overall is excellent with only signs of fading at bolt handle and magazine. Side mount with 1" rings (slightly offset to allow battle sight use too) is an aftermarket addition with original screws provided. This aftermarket mount in no way comprimises originality as utilizes existing floorplate screws so NO additional holes drilled. Receiver, barrel and sights with crisp original Swiss markings. All screws mint and unturned. Original muzzle cover. Mint bore and rifling. One of the most accurate of all military rifles ever issued and would be a shame if this one were never shot again. Also has the original Swiss leather sling.
