Description:
Another fine “ESTATE” firearm offered by Dust 2 Dollars. We offer you a Winchester Repeating Arms model 1886 lever action rifle chambered in 40-65 WCF. The serial number of 52201 tells us it was manufactured approximately in 1891 making it an early gun. Along with classifying it as an “ANTIQUE” requiring no FFL and being able to ship it directly to you (where allowed)! It wears a 26” full octagon barrel with a very fine bore. That is bright with strong lands and grooves with some minor pitting. The butt stock finish looks original with some marks and dings in the wood and slivers of wood missing at the upper tang on both sides. The rest is very fine with no cracks or repairs. The forearm is very fine with no chips, cracks or repairs. Just marks and dings from use over the years. The barrel finish has almost all turned a dark patina in color. The magazine tube bluing shows thinning but overall is in good condition. The receiver is very clean with traces of case colors and silver areas and is shown very clearly in the pictures. The action is very tight as is the overall operating mechanism. This is the ninth Winchester we have listed from this estate, and like the rest of them this is a very clean gun that has been sitting for decades. $2,695 plus $75 shipping to you where allowed! 3% convenience fee added to the total for CC payments. All firearms come with a 3-day inspection from D2D’s. Dust 2 Dollars offers layaway, email us for details.
