S/N 33xxxA, Mfg. 1931, matching bolt, 24" barrel, 30 W.C.F. (30-30) caliber, UNDRILLED rear receiver bridge, low comb stock, steel butt plate, early Winchester target style swivels, factory installed Lyman 48W receiver sight. Excellent condition for an 85 year old rifle with only light handling marks on wood and some scattered bluing wear.
While not pristine, this is a very clean and unmolested early style Model 54 in a scarce caliber. It has become exceedingly difficult to find these unaltered 54 examples in ANY caliber or condition due to low overall production and the majority having been altered for scope use with extra drill holes and some truly aweful bolt alterations which also destroyed the stocks, along with a host of other hack jobs common to this model. This is a good one!
