Description:
This bayonet is 20 1/2” overall length with a 15 5/8” blade. Serial number on the bayonet and scabbard match. The crest on the ricasso is only partially ground...in fact there was only a half hearted attempt to remove it; as most of it and the “MODELLO ARGENTINO 1891” remain. Edge has not been sharpened and the bayonet shows little use. “RA” is clearly stamped on the side. Scabbard is blued and retains about 96-97% original finish. Tip is marked “RA” and there is a DX” on the side. Very clean and matching example.
