Description:
Original Air Force & Army Fleece lined leather bomber jacket and pants set. Jacket was manufactured by the Werber Sportswear Co of Newburgh NY. It's a size 38R and is heavily lined with fleece while the exterior is a contrasting mix of light and chocolate brown leather. The leather is sound with moderate to heavy crackling and crazing with some light flaking especially on the back upper right. The fleece trim extends at the waist, cuffs and collar. All snaps and straps appear to be intact. The pants were manufactured by Perry Sportswear Inc also of Newburgh NY. They are a size 40R and look to be complete with shoulder straps. Pants have 4 zippers (3 currently in place and work) There are 2 each to access inner clothing pants pockets and 2 each running the length of the inseam. The right inseam zipper is missing and held in place by 2 safety pins. The pants have the same fleece lining and 2 tone brown leather with similar issues of crackling, crazing and scuffing with a small dime sized hole on the right side of the leg. A solid looking aviation set that has certainly seen some use.
